Explosions rock finish of Boston Marathon; 2 killed and dozens hurt

By Erin McClam, Staff Writer, NBC News

Two explosions went off near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday, killing at least two people and injuring dozens more, as runners completed the course and thousands cheered them on. Race organizers described the blasts as bombs.

Authorities reported a third explosion at the John F. Kennedy Library, elsewhere in the city, more than an hour after the blasts. There were no immediate reports of injuries in that explosion. Authorities said that they were investigating and treating it as related, and the police commissioner urged people in Boston to stay inside.

Video from the finish line at the marathon showed people screaming and an enormous cloud of white smoke, and about 20 seconds between the blasts. The explosions were strong enough to cause at least one runner to collapse, and emergency personnel carried bloody spectators away.

“We saw two big puffs. I thought maybe it was fireworks. Then it went off again. And then all of a sudden we heard people crying and running away. It was a huge horde of people just running away,” said Serghino Rene, another witness, who was a few blocks away. “We just got away from the scene and away from tall buildings.”

A third, undetonated device was found near the finish line, a House Homeland Security Committee official and three law enforcement officials told NBC News.
Police said at least 23 people had been injured, but the count from hospitals was much higher. Massachusetts General Hospital said that it had 19 patients, Tufts Medical Center nine and Brigham and Women’s Hospital 18 to 20 — a total of 46 to 48.

Of the 19 at Mass General, six were severe, hospital officials said. Dr. Alisdair Conn, chief of emergency medicine, characterized the blasts as a military-style bombing.

“This is like a bomb explosion we hear about in the news in Baghdad or Israel,” he told reporters.

Jackie Bruno, a reporter for New England Cable News, said on Twitter that she saw people’s legs blown off.

“Runners were coming in and saw unspeakable horror,” she said.

Race organizers, in a post on Twitter, said: “There were two bombs that exploded near the finish line in today’s Boston Marathon. We are working with law enforcement to determine exactly what happened.”

President Barack Obama was notified, and his administration was in touch with state and local authorities, a White House official told NBC News. Obama directed the administration to provide whatever help was necessary, the official said.

Suspicious packages were found after the blasts at three Boston subway stops, and authorities were investigating. Within an hour of the blasts, New York police deployed extra security to landmarks, and Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House was closed to foot traffic. San Francisco put its police on heightened alert.

The race is a signature event in Boston and has been run since 1897 on Patriots Day, the third Monday in April. Tens of thousands of spectators turn out each year to watch.

Race organizers said that almost 27,000 runners competed, representing 96 countries. The winners were Lelisa Desisa of Ethiopia for the men and Rita Jeptoo of Kenya for the women. A special marker at the 26th mile of the course, yards from the finish, had been set up to honor the 26 dead in the Newtown, Conn., elementary school shooting last December.

The race began at 10 a.m., and the explosions were reported just before 3 p.m. The winners had long ago completed the race — Desisa finished with a time of just over 2 hours, 10 minutes — but the explosions came as masses of other runners were approaching the finish. NBC affiliate WHDH said that storefront windows nearby were blown out.

“Right now I’m in my condo with about 50-60 people I picked up off the street including marathon runners. Setting up a camp,” Corey Griffin told NBC News. “They have nowhere to go because everything is shut down. Officials said to get inside. This is crazy.”

Authorities did not immediately offer information on who might be responsible.
Evan Kohlmann, a terrorism analyst for NBC News, said that authorities would probably examine residue from the blasts to determine their type.

Adding that it was premature to identify a culprit, he said: “If this was a deliberate act, unfortunately it certainly would reflect something that we’re seeing. There’s an emphasis on these soft targeted attacks now. We’re moving away from the spectacular attacks and we’re moving into the small grade, homegrown attacks.”

Will Ritter, the spokesman for Massachusetts Senate candidate Gabriel Gomez, who was running the race, told NBC News that he heard what sounded like two explosions and saw smoke rising near the Boston Public Library. He said that he saw three fire engines and police running to the site.

“We heard two really large explosions in rapid succession, about a second apart from each other,” Ritter said. “Everybody kind of ducked and hit the ground.”

Another witness told WHDH that it sounded like cannon fire.

The AP reported that runners and race organizers were crying as they fled the scene, and that bloody spectators were carried to medical tents intended for exhausted runners. Runners who were still on the 26.2-mile course were being stopped and directed elsewhere, the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency said. The agency suggested that people trying to reach loved ones use text messaging because of crowded phone lines.

New England Cable News reported that the emergency response came within seconds.

The Boston transit system suspended some service.

Authorities gave a phone number for people in search of loved ones — 617-635-4520. They encouraged people with information about the blasts to call 1-800-494-TIPS.

Someone knew something was going to go down and they brought in these guys to stop it

I’m hearing that the Boston PD was apparently conducting some kind of “controlled bomb” drills today. I’m half wondering if there’s any connection; if this might turn out to be a colossal, yet accidental, fuckup by some AA hire.

This tells me that someone knew something was going to go down and they brought in these guys to stop it. Called it a drill so as not to panic people.

The marathon was under heavy guard, but, the “stars” of the marathon were long gone by the time the bomb blasts went off, which tell me that security was lowered because since the “main event” was done with, the threat level was much lower.

False Flag?? Maybe, remember all these “crazy bombers” lately have been groomed by the FBI & DHS and supplied with bombs by FBI & DHS, then taken down at the “last minute” before they hurt anyone. Same thing in this case, but maybe this guy got away from his handlers . . .

Boston Baked Bomb

Stupid Hibernigger & nigger pigs pull guns on bomb blast

I am awaiting with bated breath the announcement from a combined DOJ/SPLC press conference that the Boston bombings are the work of unnamed “White Supreemists”.

You know, like those Texas DA rubouts that now turn out to have been committed by one of their own kind, a corrupt judge, and so have accordingly vanished like Houdini off the media radar? Nature abhors a vaccuum, and one wicked and evil "White Supreemist" plot must be replaced by another.

Seriously, if anyone picks up any hard info on this, forward it to me at nwnet@earthlink.net okay? Does anyone really doubt these evil sons of bitches who rule us will try to pin this one on us if they can?

Maybe they'll fabricate a “Northeast Volunteer Army” or some such nonsense.

Waiting For The Other Shoe . . .

I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. You know . . . blaming white supremacists for the bombings. We all know it was crazy ass rag heads or niggers or even our own damned government, but far be it from them to actually tell the freaking truth! They'd choke on it. No, it's far more advantageous to their agenda to blame US.

Let's all watch and see . . . eh?

God I'm grieving for all those poor injured people. I hope the real culprits are strung up by the balls. In fact WE ought to find the f**kers. They killed and hurt a lot of whites in that mess . . .

On War #142 -- Operational IEDs

by William Lind
December 1, 2005

One of the most difficult challenges in Fourth Generation military theory is the problem Fourth Generation war poses for operational art. Put simply, 4GW is hard to operationalize. Operational art is not a thing, but a linkage: the connection between the tactical and strategic levels of war. In Second Generation, firepower/attrition warfare, operational art is reduced merely to accumulating tactical victories. The presumption, often unwarranted, is that at some point you hit the magic number where the enemy surrenders. In Third Generation, maneuver warfare, operational art is the art of breaking the enemy’s strategic “hinges” with the fewest possible tactical engagements. It thus provides the basis for deciding where and when to fight, and equally important, where and when not to fight. The principal operational weapon is surprise combined with speed, i.e. unexpected maneuver, usually with mechanized forces, deep into the enemy’s rear.

The question of what operational art means in Fourth Generation war remains open. I don’t know of any general answer. The problem is that the enemy’s strategic hinges, or centers of gravity, tend to be intangible: how do you use tactical engagements or operational maneuver to strike targets such as family or clan honor, gang loyalties, ideological convictions or belief in a particular god? After World War II, the most operationally competent armies in the world were the Red Army and the IDF. Yet both lost Fourth Generation wars, the Soviets in Afghanistan and the Israelis in Lebanon, because they could not figure out how to act operationally against 4GW enemies. Reduced to fighting an endless series of strategically meaningless tactical engagements, both were forced to withdraw. The U.S. military now finds itself in the same situation in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Unfortunately, it appears our Fourth Generation opponents have figured out a way to act operationally against us. I touched on this in an earlier column, but as I thought more about it, I decided that what is happening deserves fuller consideration. What our opponents are doing is brilliantly simple. By relying mostly on IEDs to attack us, they have created a situation where our troops have no one to shoot back at. That, in turn, ramps up the troops’ frustration level to the point where two things happen: our morale collapses and our troops take their frustration out on the local population. Both results have strategic significance, and at least the potential of being strategically decisive, the first because it affects American home front morale and the second because it drives the local population to identify with the insurgents instead of the government we are trying to support.

An article in the November 23 [2005] Cleveland Plain Dealer, “Morale of GIs in the Iraq suffers as months drag on, casualties mount,” well describes the first result of war by IED:

“Morale is a roller coaster,” said Lt. Rusten Currie, who has spent 10 months in Iraq. “We were all idealistic to begin with, wanting to find Osama bin Laden and (Abu Musab al-) Zarqawi and bring them to justice - - whatever that means. Now we just want to go home.”

Maj. Gen. Rick Lynch, a spokesman for Multinational Force Iraq, says tensions are understandable when troops are attacked with remotely detonated explosives and there’s no way to fight back.

“Soldiers can indeed get frustrated because they’re not looking at an enemy who’s looking back at them,” Lynch said.

The second operational effect, getting U.S. troops to take out their frustration on the local population, was illustrated in what an officer whose unit recently came back from Iraq said to me. “We were hit 3000 times and in only fifteen of those attacks did we have anyone to shoot back at,” he told me. He quoted another officer in the battalion who had gone out on patrol many times as saying, “We are worse than the SS in the way we are treating these people,” meaning Iraqi civilians. This is a classic result of “the war of the flea:” as morale collapses, so does discipline, and poorly disciplined troops often treat local civilians badly.

Like the tank in Third Generation war, the IED is proving to be not merely a tactical but an operational weapon in the Fourth Generation. In Iraq, British troops are reacting by employing IEDs of their own to try to push local factions into fighting each other. That too, if it works, might play at the operational level.

But the broader challenge Fourth Generation war poses to state militaries at the operational level will remain. As I said, I don’t know what the answer is. But I do know the importance of the question. Until we have an answer, state armed forces will face great difficulty turning their tactical advantages into strategic success against 4GW enemies.

Time for a New Real Racial Patriotism

Some might consider the events of yesterday prone to inspiring American patriotism. In light of this, there will be some apropos political discussion going on, especially if someone has made it on to my friend's list (given my exact White Separatist politics.)

I've made it clear I don't consider myself an American (let alone an Amurrican) and I haven't for some time. My boundless pride in this fact might put some off, but please understand one thing out of my personal/racial/political history. I wasn't ready to adopt the Butler Plan / Northwest Imperative as the solution for the survival of my race, the white race, on the North American continent until I was willing to give up my Americanism.

That certainly is a large step, but I couldn't assume my identity as a white man unless I were willing to let go of my identity as a proud citizen of a propositional (i.e. based on words and not relation) state dedicated to the destruction of my race on this continent. I understand many Confederate sympathizers, and even a few direct descendants of Confederate war heroes, are reading this. Let me appeal to your tradition for a moment.

“The principle for which we contend is bound to reassert it’s self, though it may be at another time and in another form.”
President Jefferson Davis, C.S.A.

I'm unable to find a specific quote I'd like to use regarding the former willingness of high-ranking Confederates to die for Old Glory in spite of their hatred for it during the conflict. Sadly, I don't care to keep this material held back any longer, so we'll do without it for now. I can, however, find many remarks regarding the love of the government before the war broke out, and despite the massive similarities in the two forms of government, I can only say that these remarks ring hollow in light of the secession itself.

Should the South have adopted this mindset, as many have today, they would have done what is being proposed and tolerated indignity after indignity. Indeed, our own Declaration of Independence is fraught with lies since it was wartime propaganda, just like the remarks from Confederate generals and politicians looking to deflect cause (despite their actions being totally justifiable regardless).

If it is true that we have no mechanism to force the power structure to spare our race the harm it intends to continue inflicting on us, then why should we not examine our bonds with Amurrica with a view towards smashing them?

And more crucially, if we're to smash these bonds in deed, then we surely must smash them in thought long before. The Northwest Front offers the one and only possibility for survival of the white race and yet there is no traction whatsoever because, among other things, Americans have refused to digest for well over one hundred years that the country they think they live in doesn't really exist and instead, they choose to abide by the dictates of the world's most horrible evil hiding behind the American flag (which so many of our Confederate heroes detested while their great-great-grandchildren worship it with as much religious devotion as they should demonstrate in opposing it).

A proper sacrifice is really trading one thing you value for something better. Trade your worn-out and tired Americanism for something better: our racial identity and the survival of our folk.

@NorthWest Man

Fuck off. Your “leader”, Harold Covington, is having his rent and expenses paid by some sugar-daddy in California, and Covington’s own former co-host, porno-actress Corinna Burt, has stated publicly that there are at least two Federal snitches in that silly “Northwest Front”. Go peddle that useless shit somewhere else.

The Boston Bombings -- “We’re All Russians Now”

by Greg Johnson

It looks like the Boston Marathon terrorists are Chechen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chechen_people) Muslims. Chechnya is a predominantly Muslim region in Southern Russia. After the breakup of the USSR, the Chechen separatist movement fought two bloody and destructive wars (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chechnya) to break away from Russia but were defeate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Chechen_War)d both times. Chechen nationalism has been increasingly affiliated and identified with Islamic fundamentalism. Muslim Chechen terrorists have inflicted bloody mayhem on innocents throughout the Russian federation. The Council on Foreign Relations lists the following attacks, which can be confirmed by Googling:

An August 1999 bombing of a shopping arcade and a September 1999 bombing of an apartment building in Moscow (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_apartment_bombings) that killed sixty-four people.

Two bombings in September 1999 in the Russian republic of Dagestan and southern Russian city of Volgodonsk. Controversy still surrounds whether these attacks were conclusively linked to Chechens.

A bomb blast that killed at least forty-one people, including seventeen children, during a military parade in the southwestern town of Kaspiisk in May 2002. Russia blamed the attack on Chechen terrorists.

The October 2002 seizure of Moscow’s Dubrovka Theater (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscow_theater_hostage_crisis), where approximately seven hundred people were attending a performance. Russian Special Forces launched a rescue operation, but the opium-derived gas they used to disable the hostage-takers killed more than 120 hostages, as well as many of the terrorists. [Chechen separatist leader Shamil] Basayev took responsibility for organizing the attack, and three Chechen-affiliated groups are thought to have been involved.

A December 2002 dual suicide bombing that attacked the headquarters of Chechnya’s Russian-backed government in Grozny. Russian officials claim that international terrorists helped local Chechens mount the assault, which killed eighty-three people.

A three-day attack on Ingushetia in June 2004, which killed almost one hundred people and injured another 120.

Street fighting in October 2005 that killed at least eighty-five people. The fighting was in the south Russian city of Nalchik after Chechen rebels assaulted government buildings, telecommunications facilities, and the airport.
An attack on the Nevsky Express, used by members of the business and political elite, in November 2009 killed twenty-seven people.

In March 2010, two female suicide bombers detonated bombs in a Moscow metro station located near the headquarters of the security services, killing thirty-nine people. Islamist Chechen rebel leader Doku Umarov claimed responsibility for the bombing; he had also claimed responsibility for the derailment of the Nevsky Express.

Two days after the metro station bombing in March 2010, two bombs exploded in the town of Kizlyar, in Russia’s North Caucasus, killing at least twelve people.

The most notorious act of Chechen terrorism is, however, the September 2004 Beslan school massacre (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beslan_school_hostage_crisis) in North Ossetia. This attack was apparently masterminded by Basayev, although only three or four of the 32 terrorists were Chechens. More than 300 people died in the three-day siege, most of them children.

Now Chechen terrorism has come to the United States.

There is only one conclusion: We are all Russians now. We must, therefore, re-evaluate our foreign policy toward Russia. We must purge anti-Russian voices in the Cabinet, State Department, and media. We must extend military aid to Russia, forgive old debts, ignore human rights abuses, give Russia and Putin glowing press coverage, and align ourselves with Russia in its struggle against Islamic militancy. To show our good faith, perhaps we should even invade a couple of Russia’s enemies for them. Most of our armed forces are in the region anyway. Perhaps we should even give them Afghanistan.

That, of course, is just a parody of the Jewish line pressed after 9/11. And even though it would be a good thing if the US had a more sympathetic, less confrontational foreign policy toward Russia, it will never happen, since American interests have played no role in our foreign policy for several generations now.

But in all seriousness: This attack has not happened because the United States has a pro-Russian, anti-Chechen foreign policy. Quite the opposite. It happened because the Chechen terrorists happened to live in the United States, and to them one white infidel is just as worthy of being killed or maimed as any other. They targeted white Americans because they are Muslims and we are not. This will continue to happen until we repatriate every Muslim who has arrived on these shores since 1965.

If it was feasible for them to come, it is feasible for them to leave.

If their ancient roots in their homelands did not matter to them, then their shallow “roots” in America should not matter to us.

Of course, the Boston bombers may not have been motivated merely by Chechen separatism but also by generalized solidarity with Muslims around the world, in which case the bombers would have ample provocation, given that millions of their brothers in faith do suffer due to US policies. But the primary cause of these American provocations is Jewish domination of American foreign policy, which will be ended only when Jews depart these shores as well.

Part of the beauty of being a White Nationalist is that we are not forced to choose between Muslims and Jews (http://www.counter-currents.com/2012/10/innocence-of-muslims-guilt-of-jews-interests-of-whites/). They are both our enemies to the extent that they occupy our lands and meddle in our affairs.

If white people had a country of our own, this wouldn’t be happening.
