Meet The Dapper White Nationalist Who Wins Even If Trump Loses

Richard Spencer uses chopsticks to deftly pluck slivers of togarashi-crusted ahi from a rectangular plate. He is sitting in the Continental-style lounge of the Firebrand Hotel, near his home in the upscale resort town of Whitefish, Montana, discussing a subject not typically broached in polite company. "Race is something between a breed and an actual species," he says, likening the differences between whites and people of color to those between golden retrievers and basset hounds. "It's that powerful."

We are well into our third round of Arrogant Frog, a merlot that Spencer chose because its name reminds him of Pepe, the cartoon frog commandeered as a mascot by the "alt-right" movement that has been thrust from the shadows by Donald Trump's presidential campaign. Spencer says Pepe could also be seen as the reincarnation of an ancient Egyptian frog deity, Kek: "He is basically using the alt-right to unleash chaos and change the world," he says, looking slightly annoyed when I crack a smile. "You might say, 'Wow,' but this is literally how religions arise."

If Pepe is the alt-right's god, then Spencer is its self-styled prophet. A 38-year-old Duke Ph.D. dropout who sometimes resides in a Bavarian-style mansion at the edge of a ski slope, he has for years been quite literally shouting into the wilderness, proclaiming to anyone who will listen that the alt-right, whose name he coined in 2008, is the only political movement that really gives a damn about white Americans. In Spencer's view, if you aren't a white American, that's fine—but you should leave.

An articulate and well-dressed former football player with prom-king good looks and a "fashy" (as in fascism) haircut—long on top, buzzed on the sides—Spencer has managed to seize on an extraordinary presidential election to give overt racism a new veneer of radical chic. In some ways he resembles an older generation of "academic racists"—or "racialists," as he prefers to put it—who've long sought to professionalize a movement associated with Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan. What sets him apart is his rock star status among a certain fringe that delights in making racist comments pseudonymously on the internet. They idolize Spencer for embracing life as a public heretic and appearing to lend an air of respectability to white nationalist views. You could call him the alt-right's outlaw version of William F. Buckley, if Buckley had been down with millennials and into shitlords and dank memes.

Spencer subscribes zealously to the idea that America's white population is endangered, thanks to multiculturalism and lax immigration policies that have gone unchallenged by mainstream conservatives—or, as Spencer and the alt-righters call them, "cuckservatives." He envisions a future for the United States along the lines of "a renewed Roman Empire," a dictatorship where the main criteria for citizenship would be whiteness. "You cannot view another white person as your enemy," he says.

When asked who would qualify as white, Spencer's reasoning quickly turns arcane, if not tortured—he invokes a mix of race, culture, and geography—but the answer definitely does not include blacks, Asians, Muslims, Jews, and most Hispanics. Spencer knows that a white ethnostate is at most a distant dream, but his more immediate desire is to shift the bounds of accepted political discourse. He hopes America's nonwhites can be made to agree that returning to the lands of their ancestors would be best for everyone: "It's like presenting to an African that this hasn't worked out," he says. "We haven't made each other happier. We are going to have to take part in this paradigmatic shift together."

For years, Spencer's "identitarian" movement barely flickered in the dark corners of the internet on sites such as Reddit and 4chan. But Trump's ascendancy was like kerosene dumped on a brushfire. From day one, the Republican insurgent sounded themes dear to the alt-right—his official campaign launch in the lobby of Trump Tower in June 2015, when he vowed to crack down on Mexican criminals and "rapists," was simply the first clarion call. Ever since, Trump's tacit embrace of the alt-right's favorite media outlets and shrillest online voices has emboldened the movement beyond Spencer's wildest dreams. (When Trump retweeted the user @WhiteGenocideTM this past January, Spencer responded, "Wow. Just wow.") Regardless of the election outcome, Spencer believes the alt-right's views will continue to seep into mainstream American politics, in the form of a renewed focus on deporting undocumented immigrants and perhaps even the establishment of a Congressional White Caucus.

In August, Hillary Clinton declared in a speech that "the emerging racist ideology known as the alt-right" had through Trump "effectively taken over the Republican Party." Watching that speech from a hotel room while on vacation in Tokyo, Spencer could hardly believe his good fortune. Suddenly his inbox was flooded with interview requests from national political reporters; in a hasty Skype call with Michelle Goldberg of Slate—a Jew, he figured, but "it's hard not to be" in the media—he confidently asserted that he'd "made it."

For white nationalists, Trump win a dream come true, says alt-right leader from Dallas

Richard Spencer was euphoric the night Donald Trump was elected president.

"When it happened, I thought I might have been dreaming," he said.

Richard Spencer, 38, a Dallas native and a graduate of St. Mark's School of Texas prep school, now lives in Montana. Facebook

Spencer, a 38-year-old Dallas native and graduate of St. Mark's School of Texas prep school, is a key intellectual leader of the alternative right, a label he coined in 2008 to describe the radical conservative movement defined by white nationalism and a fervent resistance to multiculturalism and globalism.

In his mind, Trump "is the first step, the first stage towards identity politics for white people."

"That is something major," Spencer said Tuesday night. "He's not your father's conservative. He's not in this to promote free markets or neoconservative foreign politics or to protect Israel, for that matter. He's in this to protect his people. He's in this to protect the historic American nation."

During the interview or shortly after it, Spencer's Twitter account was suspended, along with those of several other prominent alt-right figures. He called the suspensions an act of "corporate Stalinism" carried out to mollify accusations that social media was responsible for Trump's election -- an analysis with which he agrees.

"This is just a sign that we have power," he says in a video titled "The Knight of the Long Knives," posted shortly after the "purge."

Over the course of Trump's presidential campaign, Spencer and others who championed the president-elect as an "alt-right hero" have blitzed out of the dark corners of the internet and into the national spotlight.

They have attracted thousands of new followers through their use of social media, memes and the internet more broadly. They have been labeled as racists, anti-Semites, xenophobes and bigots. They're self-identified "deplorables" who claim they've been silenced by mainstream conservatism for far too long.

And if you ask them, Trump's election on Nov. 9 made them the "vanguards" of American conservatism. In short, they believe they just hijacked the GOP.

"They are a conscious repudiation of the American conservative movement," said Dan Morenoff, a 42-year-old lawyer from North Dallas and former head of the Republican Jewish Coalition chapter in North Texas. "They affirmatively reject the American ideals that conservatives have tried to conserve over the last 50 years. But I think a better description for them is barbarians. They are barbarians who would replace American culture with an ethno-national state."

The Southern Poverty Law Center labeled Spencer an "academic racist" who takes a "quasi-intellectual approach to white separatism."

Spencer prefers to call himself an "identitarian" but will accept white nationalist. He is adamant that he's not a white supremacist, which implies a desire for whites to rule over nonwhites. Such a hierarchy would be "disastrous," he said.

He's the editor of Radix Journal, an online magazine focused on alt-right theory, and he serves as director and president of the National Policy Institute, an alt-right think tank he plans to use as a vessel to push Trump further in the direction of anti-war, anti-immigration and, most importantly, pro-white policies.

He envisions a white ethno-state utopia, devoid of black people, Muslims, Jews, Asians or anyone else without a common European heritage and culture. He believes white people in America have become rootless wanderers, displaced by immigrants who are now waging a kind of proxy war against the European cultural foundation upon which the U.S. was built.

"Look, I care about my people more than I care about others," Spencer said. "It's very simple. What form that takes, I don't know. But I don't believe in equality. I don't care about everyone. I don't care about the world. I want to fight for my people first."

He says he holds no animosity for people of color and other minorities. In fact, he said he sympathizes with their plight in America and understands "why they never felt part of this country."

But his sympathies don't override what he believes is the inherent, genetically motivated animosity different races hold toward each other. Because of this natural hate, he believes walls will ultimately be more successful in promoting peace than bridges will be.

These views have some local Jewish community members "horrified," but Morenoff said no one has any reason to be afraid. The alt-right may support Trump, but the general sentiment in the American community is far from the hate he says they espouse. He is however "preaching constant vigilance to people -- wherever they are on the political spectrum."

Other critics, like Denton activist Deborah Armintor, consider the movement a fantasy that is no less frightening for its flawed philosophy.

"They call themselves the alt-right, but I see that as a code word for white supremacism," said Armintor.

Armintor, a faculty member in the English department and the Jewish and Israel Studies program at the University of North Texas, ran for an at-large seat on the Denton City Council this year but lost.

She says she was "paralyzed" for two days after Trump's election but has since "snapped back into action" and will resist the "new vision for America" represented by the alt-right, which she says the president-elect "glommed on to."

Armintor said the entire foundation of the white nationalist philosophy is flawed and a "complete fantasy." North America was originally settled by Native Americans, and it was only after Europeans forcibly removed them from the land, and introduced slavery to the new continent, that European culture flourished.

In her mind, America has always been and will be a multicultural nation, albeit one with a complicated and painful history.

"I don't have to make a case or plea for my existence or any of my friends' existences. We're here," she said. "It's the white supremacist, it's those people who have to explain their position. They're the ones who have to explain how they can dare to say these things in America after the Holocaust and genocides all over the world because of precisely these attitudes."

Spencer currently resides in the resort town of Whitefish, Montana, in what was described as a "Bavarian-style mansion" in a profile in Mother Jones. He was born in Massachusetts but moved to the Preston Hollow neighborhood of Dallas when he was about 2 years old.

"It was a fairly idyllic, suburban childhood," Spencer said with a laugh. "I remember riding bikes around the neighborhood, and so on. I guess you could say I lived in a bubble to a certain extent, like a lot of the kids in that area. But it was very nice."

He attended St. Mark's School of Texas, one of the most prestigious all-boys prep schools in the Southwest. He described himself as an average student who didn't stand out among the bright minds surrounding him. He played varsity football and baseball. He directed a minimalist stage play titled K2 about two men stuck on a mountain 27,000 feet above sea level.

Richard Spencer in his eighth-grade photo from the St. Mark's School of Texas (Vernon Bryant/Staff Photographer)

"You would've never guessed that I would become a political radical," he said. "When I was a kid in Dallas -- even a young man in Dallas -- I was not a political radical. I don't think there was anything in my childhood that inspired me to go down this path. If anything, I went down this path in spite of my background."

Spencer said his father, a Dallas-based ophthalmologist, and mother are registered Republicans who aren't passionate about politics and have "mainstream" conservative opinions and morals. He described them as "standard Episcopalian Dallasites."

"Their political beliefs are not mine," Spencer said. "I'm a bit of a black sheep."

According to Mother Jones, Spencer was friends with the only black student in his class at St. Mark's, John Lewis. Lewis said he never thought Spencer was a racist, but another student told Mother Jones they remembered Spencer making "conservative, racially laced comments."

Spencer dismissed the claim, saying he didn't come to hold his radical views until college. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia, where he double-majored in English and music.

During this period, he was influenced by the writings of Friedrich Nietzsche and Jared Taylor, a founding figure in the American white nationalist movement and editor of American Renaissance.

"I think my personality was open to these ideas," he said. "I think it was a combination of nature and nurture. I was who I was, even as a child."

He later studied humanities at the University of Chicago and then pursued a doctoral degree at Duke University for two years before he was offered at job at The American Conservative magazine and dropped out.

He was eventually fired because of his radical views, and in December 2009, he started AlternativeRight.com, which eventually became Radix Journal. In 2011 he became president of the National Policy Institute and has used it as a platform to promote his white nationalist ideas ever since.

The day after Trump was elected president, Spencer streamed a video on Periscope of himself describing his feelings about the results and what they represented. Viewers thanked him for laying the groundwork for Trump's election. But he humbly deflected the congratulatory remarks.

"This really was one of the greatest moments of my life," he said. "It's hard to explain how enthusiastic I was last night. This is what I've been living for."

Days after Trump was elected, he appointed Steve Bannon, the former executive of Brietbart News who is credited with guiding Trump's campaign to victory, as his chief strategist.

The appointment drew heavy criticism because Breitbart has often been deemed a mouthpiece for the alt-right movement and white nationalist writers. Many Democratic legislators called for Trump to rescind the offer.

Spencer, on the other hand, welcomed the appointment and said it was the "best possible position" for Bannon in the Trump White House.

"Bannon will answer directly to Trump and focus on the big picture, and not get lost in the weeds," he tweeted. "Bannon is not a 'chief of staff,' which requires a 'golden retriever' personality. He'll be freed up to chart Trump's macro trajectory."

Armintor and Morenoff, two 42-year-old professionals from the Dallas area, are on opposite ends of the political spectrum but have both met Trump's election with far more reserve. And they both stand in direct, aggressive opposition to the alt-right and white nationalism.

Armintor said she remains horrified but motivated to work at a local level to promote civic engagement and unity.

Morenoff said the alt-right's rise is "deeply troubling," but he will continue to scrutinize the executive branch.

"The alt-right is very happy about the election of Donald Trump," he said. "They have adopted him as a mascot, but that doesn't mean their feelings are mutual."

While he doesn't know if alt-right figures will be satisfied or disappointed by a Trump presidency, he recognizes this moment in American history as an opportunity to think critically about limited government.

"If the election of one political figure has the power to scare you this much, you should join with conservative groups to make sure the powers of the executive branch are not so strong that they make you feel afraid," he said.

Spencer's "BEARD" Marriage Finally Falls Apart As Nina Files For Divorce

      Fragile . . . Dickie's Tatar-Khazar Fake Marriage Breaks Up
      .

When Richard Spencer set out on the "path to power" in 2010 with the foundation of the Alt-Right, he decided he needed a wife and maybe some kids to give him the right image. Also, he wasn't about to let the fact that he wasn't particularly interested in women to stand in the way.

Accordingly, a few months after he started AlternativeRight.com -- with the help of Colin Liddell and Andy Nowicki -- he went out and got himself "wifed up." She was a dark-eyed, big breasted Russian/Georgian beauty, who had grown up in Canada by the name of Nina Koupriianova.

But recently-released court papers show that in June this year, after less than eight years of marriage, Nina filed for divorce at Flathead County District Court in Montana.

The documents are also very revealing about the nature of the so-called marriage, with Nina accusing the one-time leader of the Alt-Right of being "physically, emotionally, verbally and financially abusive."

Many people who know Spencer well thought that there was always something rather odd about the relationship, rather like President Macron's marriage in France, and a high likelihood that Nina was just a "beard" for something more "implicit," as it has always been clear that Richard never loved anybody as much as himself -- except perhaps for the thought of Hitler Jugend in leiderhosen.

During the infamous 2016 "Heilgate" conference that he organised to celebrate Donald Trump's victory, Spencer notoriously ran films showing the naked male statuary of Arno Breker to soundtracks of Wagner -- a typical "gay Nazi" trope.

      .

Not nearly as gay as I look . . .
      .

The fact that Nina went on to have two children while married with Spencer, doesn't necessarily mean very much. In fact, many of the details revealed by his wife suggests that Spencer had very little concern for the well-being or even survival of the children in his wife's belly.

For example, in early July, 2014, Nina reported that Spencer physically assaulted her when she was four months pregnant with her first child, saying that, "He got on top of me, held me down with his bodyweight, and held me by my neck and lower jaw." This led to bruising.

She included an email exchange from July 7 corroborating this statement in court records:

Dickie Spenther Is a Fraud – No Big Surprise

Dickie Spenther Is a Fraud – No Big Surprise

        http://www.voiceofretards.com/blog/d...-big-surprise/
        http://christian-identity.net/forum/...8791#post18791
        http://whitenationalist.org/forum/sh...8791#post18791

I always knew Dickie was full of shit. That fraud never fooled me. There’s an article published in the lamestream media that mentions some details about his divorce.

Dickie’s biggest weakness, besides being a zogbot closet homo hook nose crypto jewy ass jewboy, is that he acts like he has already been crowned. His self-entitlement quotient rivals his mentor, Baby Bush W. Dickie has no humility whatsoever, as you will see by some of the things he allegedly said to his wife. He’s a delusional tard, typical of ZOG. He VASTLY overestimates his importance and capabilities. And was coonstantly getting into overwhelming messes, which he promptly blamed on someone else.

Everywhere Dickie had meetings, the antifa were right there, as if it was all a show where both sides were being coordinated by the same entity. Dickie, the homo jew faggot, never took responsibility for anything. You almost can’t believe anyone so stupid and clueless like him exists. He reminds me of olive skinned jewboy and fellow flaming faggot, Gaymamzer.

So, it’s no revelation these accusation made by his soon to be ex-wife. Womyn lie in divorce proceedings, to get more money, but usually you can spot it. These allegations have the ring of truth. Judging from Dickie’s behavior as self-appointed Alt Kike Bowel Movement leader, all the allegations here make sense:

        .

The wife of the white nationalist Richard Spencer has accused him of emotional and physical abuse, including choking her, dragging her by her hair and attempting to punch her while she was pregnant, according to divorce filings in the Flathead county district court in Montana.

“One of [Spencer’s] favorite statements to me is, ‘The only language women understand is violence,’” Spencer’s wife Nina Koupriianova alleged in divorce filings. She claimed he called her “genetically defective” and a “parasite”, and that he verbally abused her in front of their young daughter.

“I’m famous and you are not! I’m important and you are not!” the white nationalist leader would sometimes tell her when he was angry, she claimed in the divorce filings.
        .

It’s well known that Dickie enjoys alcohol. The tard couldn’t even do a ten minute video without a whisky glass in his hand. So, I suspect he has major drinking problems. Violent outbursts and self-important talk are no surprise. She even mentions his drunkenness more than once:
        .

In the divorce filings, his wife argued that Spencer’s abusive behavior, drinking and white nationalist political activism put their children at risk.

Spencer “has noticeably increased his alcohol intake in recent years, which contributes to his aggressive behavior and reduces his impulse control”, she said. During their video chats, he would sometimes be holding a bottle of liquor early in the afternoon, she claimed.
        .

Dickie was also probably frustrated being a homo and married to a woman. It’s not natural for a faggot jewboy. What his wife describes is not unlike what a lot of womyn married to zogbots describe (See Kay Griggs videos). ZOGbots are mentally unbalanced, violent, alcoholic weirdos that no one likes.

Too many people buy into the ZOG crafted narrative of these Bowel Movement “leader” tards. I’m not so sure Dickie is from a rich family. Judging from this article, he’s either a total cheapass jewboy, or more likely, is broke:

        .

During their marriage, the white nationalist leader sometimes told her to use her own savings to pay for groceries, saying that his money was “for the cause”, she alleged. He also regularly failed to pay water, internet, electricity and cellphone bills and failed to make healthcare payments, causing their health insurance to lapse three times, including once shortly before the birth of their second child.
        .

I doubt she would lie about him being a deadbeat. Dickie is the type of tard who skips out on paying a bill. I didn’t see him putting any money “into the cause.”

I don’t know if this next allegation is true coonsidering Dickie pussed out after he was sucker punched. But liberals and zogbots are notorious for abusing those weaker than themselves, while being cowardly towards those stronger:

        .

[quote]In 2014, when she was pregnant with their first child, he held her down with his body weight and grabbed her by the neck and the jaw, leaving bruises, she alleged. In 2017, when she was nine months pregnant, he attempted to punch her in the face, she claimed.
        .

Dickie sounds like he’s a messed up drunk zogbot:
        .

She claimed he repeatedly told her to kill herself and asked if her parents would attend her funeral. Much of the abuse happened in front of their children, she alleged.
        .

Dickie is exactly the kind of tard that needs to go if this cuntry has any future. He’s too white looking to be coonsidered a kikey kike jewboy by most. He’s a smug, piece of shit, drunk asshole, who makes everyone’s life around him miserable. Not to mention a closeted faggot zogbot. Like a worthless jewy ass jewboy, he thinks he can lie his way out of any mess.
        .

Dickie Poses in Front of Homo Flag with Mexican Beard Girlfriend, and Homo Mustache.
You Can’t Make This Shit Up. What a Reee-Tard

Washington (AFP) - An organizer of a notorious white nationalist rally held in Charlottesville, Virginia, nearly two years ago said it would not have taken place had Donald Trump not become president.

"There is no question that Charlottesville wouldn't have occurred without Trump," Richard Spencer, a leader of the so-called "alt-right," said in an interview with The Atlantic magazine.

"It really was because of his campaign and this new potential for a nationalist candidate who was resonating with the public in a very intense way," Spencer said.

"The alt-right found something in Trump," he said. "He changed the paradigm and made this kind of public presence of the alt-right possible."

A 21-year-old neo-Nazi is serving life in prison after driving his car into a group of counter-protestors following the August 2017 gathering of white supremacists in Charlottesville.

A 32-year-old woman, Heather Heyer, was killed and dozens of other people injured when James Alex Fields Jr drove his car into the crowd.

The counter-protesters had gathered in opposition to the white supremacists who had come to the university town ostensibly to protest the removal of a Confederate statue.

Trump has been accused of giving tacit encouragement to white supremacists by failing to unequivocally condemn their ideology and his anti-immigration policies have mostly targeted Muslims, Africans and Latinos.

Trump drew broad criticism following the Charlottesville violence when he spoke of "very fine people" and "blame on both sides," appearing to establish a moral equivalence between the white supremacists and those who opposed them.

The incident turned Charlottesville into a symbol of the growing audacity of the far right under Trump.

Spencer, one of the organizers of the "Unite the Right" rally, told the Atlantic that Trump was "being honest and calling it like he saw it."

"I was proud of him at that moment," he said.

CNN interviewed white supremacist Richard Spencer during a Tuesday segment on President Donald Trump’s racist tweets, in another example of a news outlet inadvertently giving a large platform to white supremacists.

The segment on Jake Tapper’s The Lead covered neo-Nazis’ support for Trump’s racist attacks on four progressive congresswomen of color. The spot included an interview with Spencer who said Trump is playing a “con game” and that his attacks were not racist enough.

“He gives us nothing outside of racist tweets,” he said. “And by racist tweets, I mean tweets that are meaningless and cheap and express the kind of sentiments you might hear from your drunk uncle while he’s watching [Sean] Hannity.”

CNN correspondent Sara Sidner also interviewed Joanna Mendelson, a senior investigative reporter at the Anti-Defamation League, who spoke about the effect of Trump’s racist tweets.

“Essentially, it normalizes hate and it makes it acceptable,” Mendelson said of the tweets.

Indeed, Spencer shared the CNN segment on his Twitter account shortly after it aired.

“The CNN anchors didn't understand that Spencer was trying to position Trump as a moderate and to mock other white supremacists who supported Trump,” said Joan Donovan, director of the Technology and Social Change Project at Harvard University’s Shorenstein Center. “Spencer was saying that Trump was performing racism on Twitter, but that his policies do not go far enough to be considered support for white supremacists goals."

                      .

                      .

CNN and Sidner did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Spencer is an open white nationalist who advocates for “peaceful ethnic cleansing.” Spencer was a key player and featured speaker at Unite the Right, the 2017 white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, where a neo-Nazi murdered an anti-racist protester. (Spencer is currently being sued over the event.) Open neo-Nazi groups like the Traditionalist Worker Party have provided security at his events. He has repeatedly invoked Nazi slogans and imagery, including calling media the “lügenpresse” ("lying press") and leading a Hitler-type salute of Trump. Spencer is so racist h is banned from most countries in Europe.

Spencer has also been accused of domestic abuse, allegedly beating his estranged wife throughout their relationship, including while she was pregnant, accusations he denies.

Academics have cautioned against normalizing white supremacists by offering them on-air interviews in slick studios.

“Spencer will turn this into a new wave of attention within his own media ecosystem, where CNN has now just legitimated a litany of white supremacists, many of who were relegated to online obscurity,” said Donovan.

CNN is the most-recent mainstream news outlet to struggle with how to handle the outsized stature of the racist far right since they leapt to support Trump beginning during his presidential campaign. Last year, NBC’s Today show hosted the leader of the white supremacist group Identity Evropa, who repeated the group’s recruitment talking points. In 2016, Mother Jones ran a heavily criticized article describing Spencer as “dapper” in the headline. The New York Times ran a similarly soft-focused article on Tony Hovater as a harmless young man from the Midwest despite his membership in the violent Traditionalist Worker Party.

                        .

In a new blow to "professional contrarian" and "metapolitical village idiot" Richard Spencer, his ex-wife Nina has launched a new YouTube channel focusing on the psychological quirks of narcissists, wife beaters, and what she calls "human predators" -- in other words Richard Spencer.

Although Spencer's name is not actually mentioned in the title, the channel is clearly all about him and his dysfunctional behaviour, which not only helped fuck-up the Alt-Right but also his marriage and family.

In the intro to her channel, Nina lays out the groundwork:

                        .

I'm referring to individuals with a long-term maladaptive harmful patterns of behaviour. This could be the manipulator in your life, the aggressive destructive personality. It could even be someone leading a parasitic lifestyle by using you.
                        .

In other words Spencer, Spencer, and Spencer.

She also talks about how sick freaks like Spencer hide their fucked-up, shitty personalities under a polished, milquetoast surface.

                        .

These individuals are very good at hiding in plain sight. In other words they present very well publicly, especially at the very beginning.
                        .

I wonder what she means here?

                        Probably this:

                        .

                        Bitch-Tits Dickie
                        .

                        And this:
                        .

                        .

                        Followed by this:
                        .

                        .

Well, thanks for the interesting description, Nina. I'm sure it rings more than a few bells with people who have known Richard over the years.

How a Small Town Silenced a Neo-Nazi Hate Campaign

A Montana town reflects on its effort to drive former President Donald J. Trump’s extremist supporters back to the fringes.

WHITEFISH, Mont. — Richard B. Spencer, the most infamous summer resident in this town, once boasted that he stood at the vanguard of a white nationalist movement emboldened by President Donald J. Trump. Things have changed.

“I have bumped into him, and he runs — that’s actually a really good feeling,” said Tanya Gersh, a real estate agent targeted in an antisemitic hate campaign that Andrew Anglin, the founder of the Daily Stormer, a neo-Nazi website, unleashed in 2016 after Mr. Spencer’s mother made online accusations against Ms. Gersh.

Leaders in Whitefish say Mr. Spencer, who once ran his National Policy Institute from his mother’s $3 million summer house here, is now an outcast in this resort town in the Rocky Mountains, unable to get a table at many of its restaurants. His organization has dissolved. Meanwhile, his wife has divorced him, and he is facing trial next month in Charlottesville, Va., over his role in the deadly 2017 neo-Nazi march there, but says he cannot afford a lawyer.

The turn of events is no accident. Whitefish, a mostly liberal, affluent community nestled in a county that voted for Mr. Trump in 2016 and 2020, rose up and struck back. Residents who joined with state officials, human rights groups and synagogues say their bipartisan counteroffensive could hold lessons for others in an era of disinformation and intimidation, and in the wake of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

“The best way to respond to hate and cyberterrorism in your community is through solidarity,” said Rabbi Francine Green Roston of the Glacier Jewish Community/B’nai Shalom, who now lectures other groups on how to ward off hate campaigns like the one Whitefish endured. “Another big principle is to take threats seriously, and prepare for the worst.”

Mayor John Muhlfeld agreed. “You have to act swiftly and decisively and come together as a community to tackle hate and make sure it doesn’t infiltrate your town,” he said.

On Saturday, Mr. Spencer said he kept a “very low profile” in Whitefish, and though he had been denied service in local establishments in the past, “I don’t have any anxiety dealing with anyone.” He said he does not run from Ms. Gersh and understood why people would be angry with him.

“I don’t want any battles with them here in Whitefish,” he continued, “and I hope they take a similar attitude, that it’s best to move on.” His mother, Sherry Spencer, did not respond to requests for comment.

                          Advice and an Accusation

The trouble in Whitefish started after Mr. Trump’s victory in the 2016 election that November. Mr. Spencer, who had called his white nationalist movement a “vanguard” for Mr. Trump, delivered a racially charged speech at his institute’s conference in Washington, his words greeted by Nazi salutes. Video of the address went viral. In Whitefish, residents discussed protesting in front of a downtown commercial building owned by Mr. Spencer’s mother.

Ms. Gersh said Ms. Spencer had called her.

“She flat-out asked me, ‘Tanya, I don’t believe in my son’s ideology,’” Ms. Gersh recalled over coffee in her office downtown. “‘I’m heartbroken that this is hurting Whitefish. What should I do?’”

“I said: ‘Sherry, if this were my son, I would go ahead and sell the building. I would donate some money to something like the Human Rights Network to make a statement, and publish that you don’t believe in the ideologies of your son.’ And she said: ‘Thank you, Tanya. That’s exactly what I should do.’”

Ms. Gersh said she had arranged to sell the property without making any profit. But a short time later, she said, Ms. Spencer sent an email saying she had changed her mind about working with Ms. Gersh. Ms. Gersh supplied names of other real estate agents.

Two weeks later, in December 2016, Ms. Spencer posted an article on the open publishing platform Medium accusing Ms. Gersh of using the threat of protests to blackmail her into selling. Mr. Spencer said on Saturday that he and his former wife had written the article published under his mother’s name. He repeated their claims against Ms. Gersh, adding that she had called his mother, not the other way around. The Spencers’ accusations quickly reverberated among the far right. Mr. Anglin of the Daily Stormer exhorted his “fam” online to “TAKE ACTION” to defend Ms. Spencer.
