I live in Newton County Missouri, and they have excellent regime criminals.

But let's not forget the even more inbred regime criminals [d]ruling over the poverty-stricken inbreds of McDonald County. With crooked judges like "Smokin' Joe" Schoeberl and chomo-chasing criminal prostitutors like "Mild Swill" Dobbs.

NOEL, Mo. — A former McDonald County deputy sheriff stands accused of committing a burglary and theft of a vehicle while on duty as a deputy marshal in Noel.

A warrant was issued March 16 in McDonald County charging Jeremy W. Walker, 39, with second-degree burglary and theft of a pickup truck. Walker turned himself in on the warrant at the Newton County Sheriff’s Department the following day, posted bail and was released.

A probable-cause affidavit alleges that Walker assisted Charlie K. Holland on Jan. 29 in “retrieving a pickup truck that was locked in a garage” on South Cliff Side Drive in Noel. Walker allegedly entered the garage “by forcing the side entry door to the garage open,” the affidavit states.

He then opened the garage’s roll-up door and helped move a 1999 Dodge Dakota truck out of the garage and onto a trailer that Holland used to drive it away, according to the affidavit.

The affidavit alleges that the pickup truck belongs to Billy K. Holland, not his brother, Charlie Holland. The matter was brought to the attention of Chief Deputy Chris Allison by Billy Holland on Feb. 22 at the McDonald County Jail.

Billy Holland was sentenced Wednesday to four years in prison on two drug convictions. But he told Allison a month ago that he bought the truck from his brother and that the woman in whose garage it was being stored had a copy of his bill of sale.

According to the affidavit written by Allison, Billy Holland told him how the truck had been removed from the woman’s garage and stated that he “would assist in pursuing charges” on his brother and Walker “for stealing his truck.”

Sheriff Michael Hall confirmed Thursday that his office investigated the matter. The sheriff said the owner of the property where the truck was stored brought the complaint to the McDonald County prosecutor.

“We were asked by the prosecuting attorney to go ahead and take the report and submit it to them,” Hall said.

The sheriff said it was his understanding that Walker was on duty as a Noel deputy marshal when he went to the address with Charlie Holland and helped him get the truck.

Court records do not show any corresponding charges filed on Charlie Holland. Efforts to reach the McDonald County prosecutor for an explanation were unsuccessful, and Noel Marshal Paul Gardner did not return calls seeking information on Walker’s job status. The Globe could not find a contact number for Charlie Holland.

Walker was a McDonald County sheriff’s deputy in February 2014 when he arrested a local businessman for driving while intoxicated. The case file on the arrest disappeared from Walker’s desk and the Missouri State Highway Patrol was asked to investigate, leading to the firing of then-Chief Deputy David Roark for discarding the file in a trash bin behind the sheriff’s office as a favor to his friend, the businessman.

Roark ultimately pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor offense of tampering with evidence and received probation.
