My own forum

I just decided to have my own forum,but I'm a perfect newbie in these sort of things,therefore I need help with everything that concerns choosing, buying,setting up and everything from A to Z.

If anybody can help me I will very much appreciate it,I 'll also need a Moderator so the applications for the Mod position are Open!

I would rather discuss about the forum stuff and Mod position by PM and/Or Messenger.

You can do like Da Pisser did until he got ZOG funding and set up your own free phpbb forum on a free server. phpbb makes a pretty good basic open-source forum software and if you get one on a free server, then you are not out money and can learn from it until you are ready to go on to bigger and better things.

Setting up a new phpbb forum at a place dedicated to it is pretty easy as well.

And if you do set up a forum of your own, you will want people to post to it. So you need to do this out in the open. I am pretty busy with my own stuff, but a forum or blog can be fun. Additionally, if you have your own forum, then you can't be censored on it. Then everyone will know that at least you are serious as there are all sorts who are just blowhards about running their own forum.
